Chicago potter inspired by mid-century forms and Chicago's architectural history.

Anne E. Terpstra is a Chicago potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden. She’s always been drawn to mid-century modern design, and this is reflected in the clean lines of many of her forms. She also loves the contrast of glaze against clay body and explores this through a variety of taped lines that let the fired clay play against the surrounding glaze. Many of her designs are inspired by stained glass from Chicago’s own Prairie style, along with art deco and mid-century patterns.

Pointillism Planter

Pointillism Planter

$75.00

These stoneware planters bring a punch of pointillism to any garden or home. The dots, applied one by one with a squeeze bottle, created an abstract picture of a wildflower garden, from the grassy green of the leaves to the blue sky above. The raised satin dots also create a tactile as well as visual element, perfect for anyone seeking a unique planter for their favorite spot of green in the home or garden.
