This ceramic wreath will be a holiday stunner that can transition seamlessly into other seasons. The piece was initially thrown face-down on the wheel in a concave shape, so that when inverted and trimmed, the final form would be convex, mimicking the curve of an evergreen wreath. The midcentury-inspired block pattern was taped line by line prior to glazing and then carefully peeled away before firing. The glazes were applied individually, section by section, to achieve the final multi-colored wreath.
