This ceramic Christmas wreath will be a holiday stunner in any home. The piece was initially thrown face-down on the wheel in a concave shape, so that when inverted and trimmed, the final form would be convex, mimicking the curve of an evergreen wreath. The pattern, inspired by Chicago’s own Prairie Style stained glass, was created by a tape resist technique, applied by hand, and then finished with a matte green glaze with a hint of shimmer to it.
