Chicago potter inspired by mid-century forms and Chicago's architectural history.

Anne E. Terpstra is a Chicago potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden. She’s always been drawn to mid-century modern design, and this is reflected in the clean lines of many of her forms. She also loves the contrast of glaze against clay body and explores this through a variety of taped lines that let the fired clay play against the surrounding glaze. Many of her designs are inspired by stained glass from Chicago’s own Prairie style, along with art deco and mid-century patterns.

Snowflake Glacier Platter

Snowflake Glacier Platter

$150.00

This stoneware platter has a high-sided rim perfect for many serving needs, as well as making it more of a statement piece at your table. The snowflake pattern is a custom design taped out by hand prior to the glaze being applied. Once removed, the taped lines reveal the buff stoneware body as a warm contrast to the glacier blue glaze.
