Chicago potter inspired by mid-century forms and Chicago's architectural history.

Anne E. Terpstra is a Chicago potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden. She’s always been drawn to mid-century modern design, and this is reflected in the clean lines of many of her forms. She also loves the contrast of glaze against clay body and explores this through a variety of taped lines that let the fired clay play against the surrounding glaze. Many of her designs are inspired by stained glass from Chicago’s own Prairie style, along with art deco and mid-century patterns.

The popular confetti technique has been applied to the shoulders and upper half of this white oil bottle, making it the perfect complement to almost any kitchen. Cinched at the waist to give the user a better grip, the bottle will add a bit of whimsy and color to your cooking endeavors.
